gr8 app!!! BUT… there arent enough emojis with things that I need more accounts and so on….
What I like about mPass is that it is light, stable and it syncs well across devices. I am also glad it uses Blowfish encryption. I would feel more confident, however, if the developers made it open source. What definitely needs improvement is the graphical interface which is reminiscent of the early 00’s. Can you please do everyone a favour and hire a decent graphical designer? The software as well as the icons used in it are an embarrasment at this price point. To sum up: all well under the hood, but needs some design pimping!
I have the mSecure app on my iPhone, iPad and now iMac and simply love the ability to keep all my important info in one place, never having to track down that illusive bill statement to find out what my account number is; or trying to contact the credit card company about a card you dont have in front of you because you accidently left it at home; or trying to log into that forum on the net which you havent visited in 6 months, having no clue what your password might be. With this app, you can have it all in front of you with a click of a mouse (or touch of the screen, if on an iPhone/pad). Its simple, easy to use, and highly customizable; you can create your own entries with their own distinctive fields, or customize the existing templates to reflect the information you wish to put in. You can also sync all your mobile devices and your MAC running mSecure over wifi, which is nice. I havent seen the option to purge all content after a user-defined number of failed password attempts like there is on the iPhone/Pad version, so this might be a good option to add in a future update. Overall, this is a great app for anyone who likes to keep their life organized. 5/5!
My son insisted that I get myself securely orgasnized with all the many many passwords, usernames, PINs that we are expected to use. And it has worked. I find I use it all the time and I can organize all sorts little tid-bits of personal private secrets, and the beauty is, that it is not stored on the actual phone, should I happen to loose it. I used another Pins and Passwords program, but Hands down this is the balm. My personal assistant only a password away….
I have been using another APP (Spl****) until suddenly they updated their software on my phone without my permission (Autoupdate) and lost all of my info. Worse of all, they gave me a trial version (when I paid for an older version). So I said goodbye to that app and I found Msecure. On the first few hours, I am happy that I can easily synch my information from my iPhone, iPad and Desktop easily without problems. Thank you MSECURE for this wonderful app! Unfortunately because of that old @#$%^! App, I have to redo all of my password again. But I feel secure knowing that MSECURE information will now be secure.
I like the app however when adding an "Item" the designated field lengths do not allow for long strings for example serial numbers which become truncated. The summary screen shows the entire entry as column widths can be adjusted and the side pane does allow cut/copy.
Love this app. It is the most important program on my computer and my phone. I always have all my information with me wherever I go. Never loose a password, pin or credit informationm. Life changing! I love it.

This is a great app when used with their iPhone and iPad apps. Easy to use, easy to sync, works all the time. All my passwords on all my devices (including Apple Watch) always in sync, what more could you want?
Would like to see the desktop version to be updated. I paid for custom icons on iOS but this feature is not compatible with desktop.
Great app. Use it everyday on Mac, iPhone and iPad. But the Mac version desperately needs to be updated. Some bugs are there for a very long time and have never been addressed. Since updating Mac OS X to Sierra, I have to force quit the app on my Mac nearly every time I use it. Please this app needs a bit of caring! Its too good to let it down!
can br best if developer adds the safari integration attribute
Its very friendly and convenient app. Simply the best. Must have. Please add a function for adding own icons. Add russian and you will get a few new customers
The best application to manage all your information it has some function that makes it much better than a simple inote, customized to protect your data.
Except that sync works erratically when it does. Most of the time it doesnt, neither via iCloud, nor via Dropbox, nor directly between Mac and iPhone/iPad. The sync operation ends successfully but with "No changes" even of course when tons of data should be transferred. Hope you can fix this rubbish right away.
Used it for years and the companion apps for my iPhone and iPad. Rock solid apps!
I have been using mSecure for years, originally on my iPad and iPod; then I added to my iMac to sync to computer. Overtime I have added a Macbook Air, and 2 iPhones (one for work). When fingerprint was added bingo, things really took off, for ease of use, real easy to keep secure and get access to my personal data. I use this this for much more than just passwords: bank accounts, credit card information, insurance information, WIFI network (home, work, my Mom’s setup), SSN for all of my family, car information, you name it, I put it in. I is really handy to have this handy, sync across my devices, and SECURE. I update on one, and all are syc’d via iCloud. Couldn’t be any easier. I tend to be the household keeper of passwords, so everyone comes to me, quite often, my mom/brother/sister/wife/chidren - I is nice to be a reliable source for everyone. mSecure works well, they have really improved the product over time, and is constantly improving. One of my go to, reliable, use virtually every day pieces of software. I recommend it to many people.
When you don’t update an application, developed to keep my personal information secure, for over a year, you lose customers and recommends. I need to know a security app is constantly being audited and updated for bugs and errors. Also, the interface here desperately needs a refresh as it looks like it was developed for GTK v 1.0 from the 90s. As such, I’ve ditched mSecure for 1Password. More expensive but it’s developed by a larger team, larger user base with frequent updates to all platforms.
After looking at another password keeper and not liking what I saw I felt it was time to review msecure. It works each and every time I’ve used it. I’ve never lost a password, I still use dropbox for syncing and backup without any problems. I’ve talked others into buying a copy for their iPhones or their macs and not once have I ever had to help someone with it nor have I had anyone say something bad about the application. The search function really works and with almost 500 passwords I need a good search and a good backup. Kudos to the programmer.
